Dr Daniel Selim trained as an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist at the University of
Queensland. His training included rotations at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital,
St Vincent’s Private Hospital, and Holy Spirit Northside hospital; as well as rotations to
several private radiology practices in Brisbane and Perth. He is the only registered Oral
and Maxillofacial Radiologist based in the state of NSW.

Dr Selim holds both private and public appointments, and is staff specialist Oral and
Maxillofacial Radiologist at the Sydney Dental Hospital (SDH). Dr Selim is regularly
participating in the teaching of DClinDent postgraduates, and is involved in the teaching
and examination of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

Dr Selim is on the NSW/ACT regional committee for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS),
a member of the college in Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology (MRACDS DMFR) and on the editorial board for Clinical
Oral Implants Research (COIR).
