Professor Paul Monsour graduated from the University of Queensland in 1978, completing a PhD in Oral Biology in 1987, and a Masters in Oral Radiology and Pathology in 1991. Paul was the first registered specialist Dento-Maxillofacial Radiologist (DMFR) in Australia.
Professor Monsour lectures extensively throughout Australia on all aspects of DMF radiology and was appointed foundation Professor of DMFR at the University of Queensland in 2009.
Professor Monsour’s research interests include education in the field of DMF radiology, radiation protection in dentistry and the use of cone bean imaging in dentistry. He is an associate member of the RANZCR, a member of the radiological council of Queensland and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and holds a MRACDS (DMFR).
