Dr. Ivor Berman is a leading Radiologist and Phlebologist (Vein Specialist).
With over 20 year’s experience Dr Berman specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Ivor Berman graduated from Medical School in 1988. In the following years Dr. Berman gained valuable experience working in hospitals in South Africa, England, Canada and Australia. In 1998, Dr. Berman completed both his radiology training and an MRI fellowship focusing on Neuroradiology/ Head and Neck at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and then furthered his musculoskeletal training in the USA.
He has held a number of senior appointments in Radiology including Director of Imaging at Knox Private Hospital and Unit head of the Casey Hospital Radiology Department and Senior Staff Specialist at Monash Medical Centre.
Dr. Berman is also a keen educator and has shared his knowledge as in his role as a Radiology Examiner and member of the Training Program Assessments Committee for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists as well as running a musculoskeletal fellowship for post radiology specialisation graduate training.
He is a dual specialist. In addition to specialising in radiology, Dr. Berman is also a leading phlebologist (Vein Specialist). His roles in phlebology have included being a Board member as well as an Examiner/Censor for second part Phlebology Examinations for the Australasian College of Phlebology.
